Case Study: Project to Strengthen Resilience of Rural Communities to Food and Nutrition Insecurity in Niger
This case study highlights the key achievements and impacts of PRECIS, which reaches almost 1.5 million rural people in Niger. The project aims to improve food security, increase incomes and enhance the resilience of rural households.
PRECIS promotes sustainable agricultural development by rehabilitating degraded lands, managing water resources and introducing innovative farming techniques. It also supports youth and women’s entrepreneurship by funding micro-enterprises and improving market access.
