Hero image

Achieving a Zero Hunger world (SDG 2) is at the heart of the mandates of the three Rome-based UN agencies: FAO, IFAD and WFP.

The UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, adopted by 149 Member States in 2007, provides the framework for the agencies’ work with Indigenous Peoples. The complementary strengths and comparative advantages of the RBAs have enabled cooperation and integrated activities with and for Indigenous Peoples.
