Lessons Learned from Supporting Pluralistic Extension Services in Asia and Africa

Partnerships between public extension services and private extension service providers (PESPs) complement public systems, like market access and sustainable development, and support farmers with a broader skillset.

This report outlines ten lessons from 23 IFAD-supported projects that worked with PESPs to support efficient, inclusive and sustainable pluralistic extension systems. These lessons include selecting PESPs and different models of pluralistic extension services.
