Hero image

The Resilient Food Systems programme targets twelve countries in sub- Saharan Africa that are seriously affected by environmental degradation and loss of ecosystem services, resulting in persistently low crop and livestock productivity, and increased food insecurity.

The programme aims to put natural capital management as a priority in efforts to transform the agricultural sector and ensure sustainable food production in sub-Saharan Africa.

This briefing note provides a background of the Multidimensional Poverty Assessment Tool and case studies from projects in Kenya and Eswatini.
