Case Study: Project to Strengthen Resilience of Rural Communities to Food and Nutrition Insecurity in Niger
This case study highlights the key achievements and impacts of PRECIS, which reaches almost 1.5 million rural people in Niger.
This guide provides validated guidance for design of nutrition-sensitive value chain (NSVC) projects for smallholder farmers. The guide comprises two volumes: Volume I provides step-by step guidance for project design, while its companion Volume II provides practical resources, to be used at each step of the design process, including terms of reference, interview guides, tools and templates for data collection.
The guidance provided in Volume I and the resources proposed in Volume II of the guide have been tested and validated through fieldwork and expert consultations in Nigeria and Indonesia, as well as at global level. They therefore represent a set of practical and project-friendly resources that build on the collective knowledge of the wide range of institutions and experts that participated in the development of the guide.
