Thanks to an innovative project, rural women in the Dominican Republic are supplying ingredients to a renowned restaurant.
"Tejaswini" means “a woman who is radiant”. And the one million Indian women who are part of the Tejaswini Rural Women’s Empowerment Programme, are indeed radiant.

Their success has not only been in business - the women are now taking on social and political leadership roles too. They have been resilient through the current crisis and have adapted their businesses to COVID-19 needs.
