Ugandan farmer, Fred Ouma, lost his sight ten years ago. Unable to contribute to his family, Fred became depressed, and his family suffered.
The PRELNOR project funded by IFAD and the government of Uganda assigned a mentor to Fred’s family, to help them get back on their feet.
The family now have a working farm, a healthy relationship and they share farming and household tasks.
