Glossary on gender issues

The purpose of the glossary is to ensure consistency and accuracy of terminology in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, and standardize the terminology used in relation to gender issues in official documentation and publications, and in all aspects of meeting preparations. Recognizing the evolving nature of the gender-related terminology in each of IFAD’s official languages, this second edition is enriched with new and updated terms and definitions.
