Climate Risk Analyses in East and Southern Africa
The Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP) is the flagship programme in IFAD’s portfolio of activities designed to channel climate and environmental finance to small-scale farmers. It allows IFAD country programmes to design projects that integrate considerations of the impacts of climate change on these farmers.
In support of the integration of climate information and knowledge of climate-related risks for the small-scale agriculture sector, these Climate Risk Analyses assess the potential impacts of climate change on several crops and commodities in Angola, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
