This note is part of a review of value chain projects in relation to farmers’ organizations and their role in multi-stakeholder platforms (MSPs).

This report offers new evidence to inform the design of suitable and timely financial products for farmer organizations, based on a survey of 220 farmers’ organizations in West Africa and Asia and the Pacific.

Established in 2018, the China-IFAD South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) Facility is a partnership between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and IFAD aiming to leverage knowledge, innovation, technology and resources from the Global South to tackle poverty and sustain food systems transformation.
