The poultry sector is experiencing a strong emergence worldwide. Over the next decade, it is expected to increase rapidly in both developed and least-developed countries.

Investing in the poultry industry of developing countries, both to ensure animal health and develop efficient small-livestock value chains, is a pivotal step in diversifying agricultural activities and increasing the economic resilience, reducing the food insecurity, ensuring regular incomes, and improving the livelihoods of people in vulnerable groups.

This webinar will present innovative rural poultry development models and explore their potential replication in other countries. From Africa to the Asia-Pacific region to the USA, the scope for replicating these successful business models represents an interesting opportunity, particularly within the framework of South-South and Triangular Cooperation.
