In an effort to enhance the economy, efficiency, effectiveness and fairness of all operations financed by Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), the Heads of Procurement (HOP) hold annual meetings to harmonize procurement policies and practices.

During the 2022 meeting, several topical issues will be discussed, including the role of procurement in the current global context and during emergencies, capacity building and procurement reforms, environmental and sustainable considerations in public procurement and MDBs’ experience with mutual reliance agreements.
