Measuring results of transformative approaches for gender and climate adaptation in Rwanda

As COP27 comes to an end, we would like to invite you to our virtual learning event on transformative methodologies results in Rwanda. We will present the results of the Gender Action Learning System for Gender equality and climate change adaptation (GALS+).

Our event follows four years of implementation in the Joint Programme “Rural Women Economic Empowerment” (JP RWEE) in Rwanda. Join us to hear about the work we have carried out and the results of a GALS+ outcome assessment study in the country.

We will hear about:

• GALS’ contribution to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the JP RWEE households and communities.
• The outcomes of GALS on beneficiaries’ adaptive capacities, climate resilience and nutrition.
• Patterns of empowerment that can be observed among GALS beneficiaries.
