The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant upheaval to IFAD staff and projects. The pandemic has severely impacted our work and short-term goals at IFAD: our beneficiaries – poor rural people around the world – are facing additional social and economic challenges.

Our offices have been closed or profoundly adjusted to meet safe working conditions for all our colleagues. Thanks to our colleagues, partners, and beneficiaries around the world IFAD’s projects and programmes have been able to continue and respond to the crisis.
