Innovations in law to tackle food insecurity

The latest SOFI report confirms that the number of hungry people in the world continues to increase, highlighting the challenge of reaching the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Zero Hunger by 2030.

Can innovations in the field of law play a role in progress towards the SDGs? Katherine Meighan, IFAD’s General Counsel, met with Lynn Bergeson, Vice Chair of the International Bar Association, Agricultural Law Section for a podcast conversation on food security, hunger, the sustainable development goals, and how legal innovations can be supportive instruments in achieving a world without hunger.
