The latest SOFI report confirms that the number of hungry people in the world continues to increase, highlighting the challenge of reaching the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Zero Hunger by 2030.

Can innovations in the field of law play a role in progress towards the SDGs? Katherine Meighan, IFAD’s General Counsel, met with Lynn Bergeson, Vice Chair of the International Bar Association, Agricultural Law Section for a podcast conversation on food security, hunger, the sustainable development goals, and how legal innovations can be supportive instruments in achieving a world without hunger.

During the podcast, Katherine tells Lynn about IFAD, the entities with which it works, and how it operates, including IFAD's innovative funding mechanisms to leverage investments and create partnerships for sustainable food systems and a food secure world.
