Fifth Global Meeting of the Indigenous Peoples' Forum at IFAD

February 2021

The Indigenous Peoples’ Forum at IFAD is a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue where Indigenous Peoples’ representatives convey their concerns, requests and recommendations to improve the partnership with IFAD and, therefore, the effectiveness of its engagement with Indigenous Peoples.

The fifth global meeting of the Forum will focus on The value of indigenous food systems: resilience in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regional and sub-regional online consultation meetings will take place between early October and mid-November 2020. These meetings provide an opportunity for increased participation of Indigenous Peoples’ communities in determining priorities and strategies for their own development.
