Invitation to bid: South-South R&D and Knowledge Platform and Partnerships for Sustainable Family Agriculture in Lusophone Countries

This Call for Proposals is intended to select a recipient or consortium of recipients to receive IFAD grant financing to implement a project on South-South R&D and Knowledge Platform and Partnerships for Sustainable Family Agriculture in Lusophone Countries.
Deadline for submission is Monday, 15 October at 17:00 hours CEST.

Interested institutions are requested to confirm by e-mail their intention to submit a proposal by Monday 8 October, 17:00 CEST.
South-South and Triangular Cooperation is playing an increasingly important role in maximizing the impact of agricultural innovation and technologies. This 3-year project aims at promoting technical cooperation between Brazil, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tomé and Principe, Angola in the framework of SSTC.
The purpose is to exchange knowledge, technologies and experiences to contribute to food and nutrition security for increased household incomes. The project will establish a platform of exchange/networking, sharing information, knowledge on selected value chains to optimise their performance for the benefit of IFAD target groups in the context of adaptation to climate change and in particular water management and small-scale irrigation.
All eligible institutions are being invited to develop a proposal based on the background and guidance detailed in the Invitation to Bid Documentation.
