The overall goal of this programme is to achieve economically vibrant and climate-smart sustainable increases in fish production and productivity for food security, nutrition, income generation and livelihood improvement.

The target group will be composed of: communities practicing aquaculture in arid areas and water-deficient conditions (especially women’s and youth groups, and other private-sector aquaculture value chain actors); national aquaculture research institutions; and extension agencies and other service providers in the target countries.
