Horticulture Development in Dryland Areas Sector Project

More than 27.5 million Indonesians – or around one in ten people – live below the poverty line. The agriculture sector contributed 13 per cent of national GDP in 2021 and employed three in ten people. Indonesia is a leading producer of palm oil, cocoa, coffee, copra and rubber.

The project aims to increase the availability, accessibility and quality of nutritious foods while increasing the climate resilience and profitability of dryland farming.
