Aquaculture Entrepreneurship Development Support Programme in Cameroun

A recent socio-political crisis, combined with COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine, has hampered Cameroon’s growth and exacerbated socio-economic fragility. Almost half of Cameroon’s 25.3 million people are living in multidimensional poverty. The agricultural sector is the engine of economic growth, employing over half of the economically active population.

The objective of the Aquaculture Entrepreneurship Development Programme is to improve the incomes, employment, food and nutrition security, and resilience of 30,000 people—in particular women and youth—in areas with high incidence of poverty.
