IFAD relies on General Service staff to support our mandate by performing administrative and secretarial tasks, as well as specialized technical functions.
General Service staff are locally recruited and must have a valid work permit for the country in which the office is located.
To support temporary needs of staff functions for up to 11 months in a calendar year (with 30 continuous days of cooling-off every year), for a maximum of 44 cumulative months. A six-month break will be then required to be re-engaged by the organization.
