The Global Model United Nations (GMUN) is a simulation of the work of the United Nations. It was created in 2019 by students studying Global Governance at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome and is held in cooperation with IFAD.

Run entirely by students, its mission is to provide aspiring young professionals with a platform via which they can learn about international issues in a realistic environment and develop their debating and dispute-resolution skills.

GMUN 2022 will feature four committees: the United Nations Disarmament and International Security, United Nations Security Council, Italian Parliament, and the IFAD committee.
