Robert Delve

Robert Delve is the Senior Technical Specialist in Agronomy at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). He provides support on agronomy to country programs for new loan program designs, as well as supervision and implementation support to existing projects.

Before the Fund, Delve held positions with Catholic Relief Services as a Senior Technical Advisor for Agriculture and Environment based in their East Africa regional program in Nairobi, Kenya, and as a soil scientist with the Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (CIAT) in Uganda, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

He has over 20 years of experience living and working in East and Southern Africa, where he worked in soil fertility management research and extension. Delve holds a PhD in Agriculture from Wye College, University of London, UK.
