El Informe sobre la Acción Climática 2019 presenta un panorama general de la labor del FIDA en materia del cambio climático e informa sobre los progresos, desafíos y logros.

The African Agriculture Fund (AAF) Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) officially closed on 31 October 2018 after seven years of implementation. The TAF had a mandate to increase economic and physical access to food for low-income Africans by providing technical assistance to the portfolio companies of the AAF.

La iniciativa de  Cobertura de los riesgos relacionados con el clima y los productos básicos para propiciar la transformación  (CACHET) protege a los pequeños agricultores contra las fluctuaciones climáticas y de los precios que afectan negativamente sus ingresos.

En 2030, los jóvenes representarán alrededor del 15 % de la población mundial, y la juventud rural alrededor del 6 %. En algunas regiones se espera que se produzca un aumento sin precedentes en la población de jóvenes.
