Launch of the Rural Development Report in Latin America and the Caribbean

Released last September ahead of the UN Food Systems Summits, IFAD’s Rural Development Report is a call to build sustainable food systems and provides a roadmap to do this.
Through comprehensive discussion, this event will disseminate the RDR’s messages among Latin American and Caribbean decision-makers, including:
- Esteban Valenzuela, Minister of Agriculture, Chile
- Bernardo Manzano, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Ecuador
- Víctor Villalobos, Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mexico
- Rodrigo Figueroa, Dean, Faculty of Agronomy and Forest Engineering, PUC
- Julio Berdegué, Regional Representative for LAC, FAO
- Dalila Cervantes, Trade and Agriculture Directorate, OECD
- Gustavo Anríquez, Department of Agricultural Economics, PUC
- Rossana Polastri, Regional Director for LAC, IFAD
- Romina Cavatassi, Lead Economist for Research and Impact Assessment Division, IFAD
The event will be held in Spanish with Portuguese interpretation.
