Following policy dialogue with the Government of Grenada and taking into account that all programmes will need to play a part in the post-pandemic recovery, the IFAD strategy for Grenada has three clear focuses endorsing the priorities set in the previous strategic framework:

i) Supporting agriculture as the backbone of rural economy and a pillar for reactivation, focusing on increasing resilience to CC as it seems a major source of vulnerability for rural livelihoods;

ii) Promoting rural youth employment and self-employment as a key component of an inclusive recovery; and,

iii) Further developing collaboration with other financiers to up-scale operations and support the GOG over the graduation period from IFAD concessional terms during the recovery process.
