Julio Worman is a Programme Analyst in the Global Engagement, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Division. He provides technical support to the effective implementation of IFAD’s corporate strategies on South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) and Knowledge Management (KM) in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Before joining the Fund in 2019, Worman worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as a resource mobilization and donor liaison officer. He was also part of the team responsible to oversee FAO´s strategic work on sustainable agriculture. His earlier work experience includes consultancies on public sanitation, with fieldwork in Africa.

A native of Brazil, Worman holds a master's degree in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
