Survival, change and decision-making in rural households: Three village case studies from Eastern Morocco
by A. Lubbock based on original research by Dr. Rahma Bourqia (IFAD, 1998)
This document presents the main findings of a study carried out between 1994 and 1995 in three villages in Eastern Morocco - each representative of a different environmental context. The study concerns gender roles in household production systems and decision-making mechanisms in farm and household management, and it analyses some of their implications for development and project design.
