Republic of Paraguay Country strategic opportunities programme 2016-2022

IFAD's country programme in Paraguay has the following two strategic objectives:

1. Sustainable economic opportunities to ensure sustainability in production and trade.
2. Strengthened social capital, giving priority to creating and building human and social capital and empowering rural organizations (ROs) in terms of governance, administration and capacity to organize activities and provide services for their members.

The COSOP will cover the period 2016-2022, encompassing three cycles of the performance-based allocation system (PBAS).
