Director, Office of Strategic Budgeting

Saheed Adegbite

Saheed Adekunle Adegbite is the Director of the Office of Strategic Budgeting at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). He is responsible for planning and managing IFAD’s annual budget and leads the design and execution of strategic plans. As principal adviser to the President and Vice-President on budget, workforce planning and organizational development, he is responsible for ensuring that IFAD's financial and human resources are aligned with its strategic priorities.

Before joining the Fund, Adegbite was Senior Business Process Coordinator and Project Director at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, Austria where he led multiple organization-wide business process reform projects. He was also Principal Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Oracle Corporation, as well as the Executive Director for the International Coaching Alliance.

Adegbite holds several postgraduate master’s level qualifications in Organisational Leadership from Said Business School, University of Oxford, International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and Sensors and Intelligent Instrumentation from Middlesex University, London. He also holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
