Joseph Muchina Nganga

Joseph Nganga is a Programme Officer in East and Southern Africa division. He oversees the implementation of programmes in Bothe Seychelles and Mauritius. This includes design and providing implementation support to the existing projects and also engaging in policy dialogue with government and partners.

Before joining IFAD at HQ, Joseph was the Country Programme Officer for Kenya where he gave country programme management support and acted as a link between IFAD and government.

Previously, Joseph worked for a number of IFAD supported programmes as part of project management units and also for the government of Kenya in various ministry management positions.

Joseph holds a Master's degree in Project Planning and management and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work both from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
