The sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 12 to 23 March 2018.
Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are welcome to attend the session.

IFAD side event
Enabling rural women to benefit from opportunities in agri-food value chains in Africa
12 March 2018, 6.30pm – 7.45pm
IFAD will be hosting a side event for sharing and exchanging best practices and major innovations that have been found to strengthen the role and the position of rural women in agri-food value chains, allowing them to capture a significant part of the profits. These good practices and innovations will be shared by rural women engaged in agri-food value chains.
