Spotlight: Virtual visit to Senegal

Join us for a virtual field visit to Senegal, where we will visit former participants of the IFAD-funded PAFA project. Launched in 2008 with the goal of improving food security and creating sustainable and remunerative jobs for rural populations, PAFA has transformed the lives and livelihoods of some of western Senegal's poorest rural communities, especially women and youth.

Four years after the project's conclusion, these women and youth are still going strong – and their incomes have only increased. Thanks to PAFA, they've also strengthened their resilience to shocks such as climate change and the current COVID-19 pandemic.
