Bangladesh: Land of our own

In South East Bangladesh, regular flooding - exacerbated by rising sea levels - displaces 26,000 people every year. People who are left homeless and landless after their homes are washed away resettle on newly formed river islands. Often money is illegally extorted from them to occupy the land. They face an uncertain future, rebuilding their lives on land which they did not own.
