Platform for Remittances, Investments and Migrants’ Entrepreneurship in Central Asia (PRIME Asia)

The Platform for Remittances, Investments and Migrants’ Entrepreneurship (PRIME) Central Asia increases access to digital remittance platforms, promotes digital and financial inclusion, and creates economic opportunities for migrant returnees in rural areas. Faster, safer and cheaper remittance transfers can enhance sustainable development and the well-being of migrant workers’ families.

Co-financed by the European Union, PRIME Central Asia is focused in the growing remittance corridors of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Activities include gathering and disseminating data, advocating for a supportive regulatory environment, enabling innovative remittance models, engaging with policymakers and strengthening cooperation.
