Regional meetings in preparation for the Global Meeting of the Indigenous Peoples’ Forum at IFAD

Ahead of the sixth Indigenous Peoples’ Forum at IFAD in February 2023, 13 regional and sub-regional consultation meetings are being held to ensure the Forum reflects the diverse perspectives of Indigenous Peoples around the world.

Under the theme of “Indigenous Peoples’ Climate Leadership: Community-based solutions to enhance resilience and biodiversity”, the 2023 Forum will foster a dialogue where Indigenous Peoples share their perspectives and experiences on the co-creation, implementation and evaluation of community-based solutions centred on their knowledge systems.
