Candida Sansone

Candida (Candy) Sansone is Director of IFAD’s Human Resources Division (HRD). She leads the Division in being a strategic and trusted professional partner, providing best practice HR policies, advice and solutions to recruit and develop the best and most appropriate talent to carry out IFAD’s mandate.

Sansone joined IFAD in 2012 as Privileges and Immunities Officer in the Administrative Services Division and then went on to work in HRD as HR Policy Officer, setting up a new unit to develop and review HR policies. She also served as Senior Organizational Development Specialist in the Office of Strategic Budgeting and as Chief of the Talent Management Unit in HRD where she implemented the integrated talent management framework and managed the new mobility framework. 

Before joining IFAD, Sansone worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) for 20 years in different locations.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Human Resource Management.
