IFAD Guidelines on Economic and Financial Analysis - Vol. 2: Minimum requirements and practical examples

Volume 2 sets forth the technical analytical approach and the detailed procedural steps to follow in the elaboration of a comprehensive economic and financial analysis (EFA) of IFAD's projects.

This volume was developed to assist project economists in performing cost-benefit analysis of IFAD's investments and to support IFAD staff in answering basic questions about projects’ economic performance, and includes an example case study.

Finally, the annexes offer technical notes, practical tips, quality checklists and suggested tables for the presentation of results. 

This volume complements the IFAD's EFA guidelines series and it should be used in conjunction with Volume 1 and Volume 3 in the preparation of project economic and financial analysis.
