Palestine Country Strategy Note

This is IFAD’s first Country Strategy Note (CSN) for Palestine.

The target groups for the CSN will be composed of smallholders and small-scale farming households; vulnerable livestock keepers including the bedouins; poor, rural, landless households and unemployed youth and women. All IFAD supported investments will adopt dynamic gender equality and social inclusion strategies.

The overarching goal will be achieved through the following two Strategic objectives:

1. Improve agricultural livelihoods and increase climate resilience of small producers in rural areas
2. Increase businesses and employment growth for the rural poor by promoting innovation and inclusive rural finance approaches
