25th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice

The Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice will meet to discuss recommendations to implement the Convention on Biological Diversity, including monitoring of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Through investments in agroecology, IFAD seeks to increase biodiversity on farms to promote climate resilience and strengthen food security. IFAD has also introduced its own monitoring framework to measure the impact of its investments on biodiversity.

IFAD will have a presence at plenary discussions and will co-lead a side event on agrobiodiversity and local food systems.
