Central African Republic Country Strategic Opportunities Programme 2020-2024

The COSOP will contribute sustainably to poverty reduction, improvements in food and nutritional security for poor rural households, adaptation to climate change, and economic mainstreaming of women and youth.

The strategic objectives (SOs) are:

• SO1: increase agricultural production and productivity and build resilience among smallholder farmers;
• SO2: sustainably increase producer incomes through adding of value addition to production and market access; and
• SO3: build the capacities of actors in coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and policy dialogue, to derive greater benefit from sector investments.
