IFAD Knowledge Management Framework 2014-2018

The KM framework is the result of a participatory process that highlighted the systemic nature of the organization’s knowledge challenges. It was endorsed by IFAD management in June 2013.

This revised and streamlined version builds on the significant implementation progress made during the past year, and will shape next steps.

Particular achievements to date include:

• development of demand-driven, solutions-oriented knowledge products for IFAD country teams; provision of practical guidance on KM in operational guidelines;
• inclusion of learning and sharing behaviors in IFAD’s new competency framework; and
• the rejuvenation of IFAD’s library.
