Esha Singh is a Technical Analyst focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. She works on a wide range of topics, including market access and value chains, the use of information and communications technologies for development (ICT4D), and cross-cutting issues of monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management and policy engagement.
Before beginning her work with IFAD, Singh was a Programme Policy Officer for the World Food Programme, where she helped enable systemic reforms to social protection schemes in India. She has also worked with several not-for-profit organizations active in community engagement and public-private partnerships. Earlier, she worked as a systems engineer with Tata Consultancy Services.
Singh holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University in the United States and a Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Information Technology from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.
