Encouraging young women in business in Tunisia

Hayet has a university degree but, like one third of young rural women in Tunisia, she could not find a job and had no means of earning an income.

With the IFAD-supported PRODEFIL project, she received a loan to buy sheep and training on how to look after them. Now, she not only has an income, but her status in society has also improved. She has ambitions for a brighter future.
