United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation 2023

The UN Day for South-South Cooperation showcases the growing capacity of South-South and Triangular Cooperation to contribute to global development. This year, IFAD, FAO and WFP are partnering with the Rwanda Cooperation Initiative to bring together development partners, UN agencies, decision makers, civil society and the private sector to discuss how to strengthen SSTC and partnerships among development stakeholders in the face of global challenges.

The theme of the event “Strengthening Collaboration and Institutional Frameworks for SSTC” recognises the importance of ensuring robust infrastructure at the organizational, national and regional levels to support SSTC and the need to allocate adequate resources to finance its many streams of work.
