Farmers’ Forum
Farmers' Forum
Established in 2005, the Farmers’ Forum is a bottom-up dialogue between farmers’ organizations, rural producers, IFAD and our Member States.
The Forum aims to strengthen IFAD’s partnerships and collaboration with farmers’ organizations, while building their capacity and engaging in policy dialogue.
The Forum brings together farmers' leaders from around the world, representing millions of smallholders and rural producers who interact with IFAD and partner institutions.Previously held every two years, global meetings are now held every four years while regional consultations are held in between, following a decision in 2016 to decentralize the consultations in the regions.
