Federal Republic of Somalia Country Strategy Note (2022-2023)

The goal of the CSN is to build the resilience of the poor rural communities to external shocks (particularly climate shocks) through the sustainable management of natural resources (particularly water resources), promotion of climate smart agriculture, preservation of biodiversity and reinforcement of the livestock sector.

This requires a multi-dimensional integrated approach that takes into account the complexity of challenges and the diversity of poverty and vulnerability drivers and barriers to change in a context of adaptation to climate change and insecurity.
