Mongolia Country Strategy Note 2022-2023

IFAD’s country strategy in Mongolia has the following strategic objectives:

1. Enhanced equitable income opportunities for the poorest rural households (with special focus on women and youth) through organized entrepreneurial groups or professional farmer organizations.
2. Holistic and sustainable pasture management approach at soum and aimag levels institutionalised.
3. Enhanced climate resilience of the rural poor households ensures the sustainability and profitability of the livelihoods.
